The Business of Writing: Zoe Lea on Instagram for Authors

In this Business of Writing episode, Pam talks to UK thriller author Zoe Lea who has over ten thousand followers on Instagram.

Zoe is a novelist, journalist, storyteller and creative. She completed her first novel at the age of six on two pieces of A4 paper (impressing her first readers, her parents) and went on to have her first short story published at age 16. She continued writing across a range of platforms including print magazines, newspapers, and blogs and in 2018 had her first novel, If He Wakes, published by Canelo press. That was followed by The Secretary (published by Piatkus) a page-turning and compulsive psychological thriller about a school secretary and how dangerous it can be to make enemies at the school gates.

 Zoe has a wonderful blog on writing and the writing life and her Instagram page is filled with gorgeous images of The Lakes District, and amazing book photos taken in the beautiful setting just outside her window. In this episode Zoe shares her thoughts of how authors can approach instagram .
